Crystal Clear / Strat-a-Glass Care

Strataglass™ is a premium unsupported, coated PVC vinyl specifically engineered for marine clear enclosures (isinglass). It offers superior clarity, scratch resistance, and UV stability compared to standard vinyls, but it requires strict adherence to Strataglass protocols to maintain its 5–7+ year lifespan. All instructions below are based on official Strataglass care guidelines.

StepAction1. RinseFresh water hose (<40 PSI) – remove salt, sand, pollen, bird droppings immediately.2. WipeStrataglass-approved microfiber (e.g., Strataglass Microfiber Cloth) in straight lines only.3. DrySecond dry microfiber – no streaks.4. ProtectApply Strataglass Clear Vinyl Protectant (or 303 Aerospace Protectant®) monthly. Spray on, buff lightly, let dry.  

1. Solution: 1 capful Strataglass Clear Vinyl Cleaner in 1 gallon lukewarm water.
2. Apply: Spray liberally. Let dwell 1–2 minutes.
3. Scrub: Clean Micro Fiber rag or bare hands.
4. Rinse: Copious fresh water until no suds remain.
5. Dry: Microfiber.
6. Polish: Strataglass Clear Vinyl Polish – restores optical clarity.
7. Protect: Reapply Strataglass Protectant.

Never mix cleaners – residue can cloud the coating.
